DAY 1 – Departure from Havana at 8:30 am in a superb, comfortable American car of the 1950s, to Playa Larga in the Bay of Pigs which is in the most protected National Park in Latin America and the largest one in Cuba.
Visit to the Cuban endemic parrot breeding center and the Hummingbird House where you will see the smallest bird in the world, the Zunzuncito.
Seafood or fresh fish meal.
At the afternoon – Beach or snorkeling or optional scuba diving.
Dinner and night stay at the bed and breakfast at Playa Larga.
DAY 2 – Morning hike with a renowned biologist who will make you discover the flora and fauna of the park.
Bathing is possible in a cenote (a deep natural well) (sunscreen products not allowed).
Meal at Playa Giron where the battle of Bay of Pigs took place.
After lunch, visit to the Museum of this battle to deep in history.
Exit Bay of Pigs and continue heading to Cienfuegos, magnificent city famous for its original architecture.
City Tour, then back on the road to Trinidad.
Free visit to the city. This is the most beautiful colonial city in Latin America, becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Dinner and night at a bed and breakfast in Trinidad.
Free night out (at your own expense) highly recommended, great live musical atmosphere for dancing, having fun and sharing with the locals.
DAY 3 – Departure at 9 am to Ancon Beach which is the most beautiful beach in the South of Cuba.
Lunch before visiting the old State of San Isidro to understand and figure how Trinidad was so rich thanks to the slaves who cultivated sugar cane.
Visit to Manaca Iznaga to admire Valle de los Ingenios (the Sugar Mills Valley) from the top of its tower.
Return to Havana late in the afternoon.
